  I'm making the classic mistake of writing a review before the dust settled, but I think there is important information people need to know here.
  
  According to the office billing person, this office uses a code that insurance companies use for up to 30 minutes of anesthesia for the first 2 hours of anesthesia they give and it has done so for 13 years. Only after 2 hours do they apply a fee for an additional 15 minutes of anaesthesia. Seems like you are getting a deal, right? 90 minutes of free sedation. Nope, they bill a much higher rate for that first 2 hours. If they broke it up, you would get better coverage. But they don't care about that... as it is now, they just bill everyone the same. Flat fee. By doing so, you lose out on insurance reimbursements you would get for every 15 minutes over 30. If they broke the fee in multiple lines, not everyone would pay for the full 2 hours I guess - so there's their incentive.
  
  I know, this is all very complicated. The office's billing person didn't seem to understand it either... which is itself a problem.
  
  As far as the care goes.... That's another matter. The doctor is exceedingly conservative with the use of low-level pain management drugs and is not responsive when significant pain management issues are present. You should plan to see another provider after your procedure to get an appropriate prescription for pain management. But I guess in the end it is a wash... because they do overbill you for that IV sedation... oh wait, that sedation you paid for does nothing for the pain after discharge. Oh well. If only high in-patient pain management costs led reduce outpatient pain...
